A local selection of dwarf bush honeysuckle that is tough, drought tolerant, disease resistant, hardy, and and has superior color. Its springtime leaves are first burgundy, then shiny green with hues of copper, eventually bronzy-red in fall. In the spring it sports yellow trumpet-shaped flowers. Superior color to the species: the bronze is more vibrant where the species is a washed out orange and the summer foliage is much darker green.
